Game-Based Learning and Information Literacy

During this session, participants will explore the roles game-based learning can play in developing students' information literacy skills. Participants will hear ways that gaming can be integrated into a curriculum, see the impact of successful game implementation on student achievement, and spend time playing "The Detective", an information literacy game designed by the K20 Center. Participants will leave this session with a new understanding of the significant impact game-based learning can have on student performance.
